Retro Chair

I was given a cute little original 1950's chair yesterday.

It is really pretty and reminded me of a little girl's disney princess chair - however it was in pieces and needed reupholstering.

A little trip to the handy shop next door "Carolyns" secured some buttons and lovely bright red, paisley patterned velvet needlecord.

This afternoon I recovered the seat and back cushion, fixed it back together and here is the result. It has gone from being sad and neglected to bright and happy again.
